Shiatsu for humans
Shiatsu is part of Eastern medicine and has its origins in China. They combined massage with acupuncture and developed Shiatsu which literally means 'finger pressure'. With a finger pressure, the same points are stimulated as with acupuncture, but without needles.

The CHI (energy) runs through our body in various channels just under the skin. These channels are called meridians. All meridians in our body are connected. This system provides energy to every cell, muscle, bone and nerve in our body. In the event of illness or stress in a body, the energy flow can be blocked, causing the health balance to be disrupted.

Shiatsu also works with ying and yang. They strive for a constant balance and are therefore each other's opposites but also complement each other at the same time. They depend on each other and together they form a unit.
CHI is made up of both ying and yang and is constantly moving to get the balance between these two opposites. By working on these meridians, there is a positive effect on the organs and the self-healing capacity because it works directly on the blood circulation, nerves and the lymphatic system.
